You can bathe under this 80-foot high cold shower and hear the sound of your screams echoing all around. The water drops close to a massive tree which forms a junction between 3 rivers, completely different from the rivers meeting at 3 Rivers itself !!

FLOCKY’S TWIN FALLS

After that follow the rocky path to some hot pools in a warm river, and then climb the rocks, if you are able, to bath in the ice cold pool beneath the falls. Each of the falls is incredible and unique, and there are quite a few different pools for bathing.

TI KWEN GLO CHO HOT TUBS & MUDBATHS : Hidden a beautiful little valley in the heights of Wotton Waven is “Ti Kwen Glo Cho”, an organic haven blessed with incredible amounts of amazing water, hot sulphur pools, sulphur hottubs, and cool refreshing natural showers. layou river hot springs : Start the day at the Layou River, bathing in a warm natural sulphur spring that drops directly into the river. Swim across the river and relax before the rest of the journey to the north west of the island.

INDIAN RIVER : A lethargic boat ride up the Indian River is an incredible way to spend an afternoon. The river runs from Portsmouth, in the West, deep into Morne Diablotin. The river lies just below sea level and so the water is a mixture of fresh water and salt water. Glide through the mangroves and wetlands in the paddle boat, with a very knowledgeable guide who can enlighten you on the incredible flora and fauna en route. At the end of the ride there is an excellent restaurant, hidden deep away in the jungle, serving delicious local delicacies and extremely strong homemade rum punch. Beware !!

CABRITZ NATIONAL PARK & FORT SHIRLEY : After chilling out on the river boat ride, meander the footpaths of the recently renovated and restored Cabritz National Park and Fort Shirley. Discover the fascinating and sometime bloody history of the island, and understand how it has become the incredibly diverse nation that it is today

Day 7 -WAVINE CYRIQUE FALLS & 3 BASINS FALLS

ABA WAVINE CYRIQUE – NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED
Begin the day with gentle hour and a half stroll along the dramatic east coast to the village of Riviere Cyrique, followed by climbing a difficult tree root descent of a 100′ cliff, using the tree roots as a ladder, and you will reach Ravine Cyrique.

Here, you will see a magnificent waterfall cascading from 100 feet up the cliff directly into the ocean. The beach can only be reached by climbing down the cliff, so if you are scared of heights, this part of the tour is not for you !
If you’re scared of heights; Don’t go !

THE ROSALIE OCEAN POOLS

After your exhilarating climb you will walk back to Rosalie, following a cool Ocean trail to explore the enticing rock pools in the ocean in the quiet and secluded Rosalie Bay

Day 8 -Kalinagi tour with craft workshop

THE EMERALD POOL – The Emerald Pool is not far from 3 Rivers and involves nothing difficult at all. A simple walk through the forest to a small, pleasant waterfall and pool. A relaxing stroll to begin the day, in stunning surroundings.

CASTLE BRUCE BEACH : After the freshwater, it is time to splash in the lively ocean at Castle Bruce beach, followed by lunch at a nearby local restaurant.

Then on through the Carib / Kalinago Territory, taking a short hike to ‘l’escalier de tete chien’, a formation of rock in the form of a snake, jutting out into the Ocean, believed to protect The Kalinago people from invaders.

THE KALINAGO CARIB MODEL VILLAGE : Then visit the traditional Kalinago cultural village by the sea and see local people making their arts and crafts, and learn the history and culture of the Kalinago (Dominica’s indigenous population) people. Then finish the day with a meandering drive through the central forest reserve, taking in some of the best forest views Dominica has to offer.

Day 9 -FREE DAY Relax by the river, roam the property, take a drink in the bar
Day 10- ROSEAU CITY TOUR and

AFTERNOON WHALE WATCHING BOAT TRIP

Begin the day exploring our capital city, Roseau, the old craft market, Botanical Gardens, Roseau cathedral and a bit of free time around town.

After lunch on the bay side in the city, a short drive to meet the boat for your afternoon whale watching excursion.

So far, 22 different species of whales and dolphins have been identified in the Dominica’s waters, including a 59 foot sperm whale and some pretty large migratory singing humpbacked whales, which have two blowholes on the top of their heads forming a balloon-shaped spout. You may get lucky and see both on the same day.

Obviously, there can be no guarantee of a sighting, but the whale watching tour operators reckon you have a 90% chance of success.

Day 11 – South west tour

This cool tour takes you to the south west corner of the island, at Scotts Head and Soufriere.

Begin the day snorkeling in the warm Caribbean waters at the famous Champagne reef in the picturesque village of Soufriere.

After a visit to the natural hot springs, we then take a short drive to southern tip of the island at Scott’s Head, where you will take a 10 minute walk up the mound that is Scott’s head, taking in stunning coastal views of the island, and seeing the physical line where the Atlantic and Caribbean crash together.

The day finishes at Bubble Beach, in Soufriere; back into the Caribbean sea, for a quick bath in natural hot springs coming from the under sea volcano.

Day 12 – BOILING LAKE HIKE

The trail to the world’s second largest BOILING LAKE is perhaps the most spectacular of Dominica’s hikes. Officially described as “a strenuous 3-hour each way hike”, it does include a lot of steps and plenty of ups and downs. However, the trail is very well-maintained, and, after warming up on some of the island’s shorter walks, this one is well worth the effort, and, for most people, not as tough as might be expected.

VALLEY OF DESOLATION. Is on the way. And you will pass a group of small falls and pools, where the water is warm, and one could easily pass hours soaking up the minerals and letting the powerful hot water drop down onto your head and shoulders for a wonderful massage, a treat that you might want to save for the return journey.

And then you’ve reached the final destination. You stand on a clifftop, confronted by a misty scene of steam. The wind changes, and the lake is there before you. It is really boiling, like a vast cauldron, storming geothermal waves pulsating through the body of water, rolling, churning, other-wordly.
Awesome
