TI KWEN GLO CHO HOT TUBS & MUDBATHS
Hidden in a beautiful little valley in the heights of Wotten Waven is "Ti Kwen Glo Cho", an organic farm blessed with incredible amounts of amazing water.
As well as hot springs and a waterfall, the owner, a young Dominican entrepreneur, has used local bamboo to pipe the hot sulphur water directly into some cool little hot tubs.
Get in, relax, and feel the stress disappear.
He also has a small sulphur mud bath bubbling away in one corner of the land ... perfect for some good dirty fun !
TRAFALGAR FALLS
Then, after a traditional lunch at Ti Kwen Glo Cho, visit two stunning waterfalls at Trafalgar, reached after a ten minute easy walk from the car.
Each is incredible and unique, and there are quite a few different pools for bathing, as well as a hot river along the way.
FRESHWATER LAKE
The Freshwater Lake, Dominica's largest lake, located 2,500 feet above sea level, is about 20 minutes from Trafalgar, with truly spectacular views across the mountains.
You will drive through Laudat and then right up to the lake.
The main hydro-electric system providing power for much of the island takes its water from the Freshwater Lake.
The views all around are absolutely stunning.
