Broadwinged Hawks, Little Blue Herons, Hummingbirds, Anis and many other species of birds are seen daily at 3 Rivers.

If it is birds that you would like to see, then the two species of indigenous parrot, The Sisserou and The Jaco are likely to visit us while you are here, or say hi when you are out hiking. Serious expert guides can be hired in this field ; they cost, but if you are keen they are worth it. The main bird man is called bertrand, the bird man of Dominica. He is able to choose which birds he wants you to see, call them, and, believe it or not, moments later the same birds will be fluttering around you! Dominica has about 276 different species of birds on the island, all of which are stunningly beautiful.

Truly fascinating!
